Reiki Treatments

Reiki treatments are generally one hour long. You do not need to do anything special to prepare, however you might wish to wear comfortable clothing that allows you to relax.
If you are new to Reiki I recommend three treatments, 7-10 days apart, if possible. This enables you to get past the stages of analysis and thinking to where you can completely open up, relax, and benefit deeply from the third treatment. I especially recommend this for clients with ongoing health issues and recent injuries or illness. I understand, though, that time and budgets don’t always allow this; so we also offer single sessions. All clients do receive wonderful benefits from just a single session.
INTRO CLASSES
~ What is Reiki?
Reiki is an ancient form of healing touch therapy that provides physical, mental and emotional healing. Participants will learn how Reiki works, how a session is conducted, what results you can achieve, and how Reiki is being used at several local hospitals and hospice organizations. We will also discuss how you can become “attuned” to be able to give Reiki treatments to yourself and others. Short Reiki sample treatments can be given, depending on the size of the class.
~ Coffee Break Reiki Treatments
Individual 10-15 minute Reiki treatments to help with stress, concentration, and balancing emotions. It can often help employees to gain a more positive outlook about their work, be more tolerant of co-workers, and get through their day with less emotional disruption. Employees can be treated in a chair right at their work stations.
~ Reiki Level 1 Class/Attunement
(One-time, 7 hour class including 1 hour lunch break)
Learn how to give a Reiki treatment to yourself, other people and your pets. You will become “attuned” to the Reiki healing energy and learn hand positions for providing treatments. We will also discuss intuitive and shamanic healing methods, and how to incorporate crystals and aromatherapy into your treatments. This class is taught in the traditional Usui Reiki method. (Note: Level 2, 3 and Master classes are also available – please inquire)
Graceful-Reiki
The studio is home to a fabulous Reikitty named Gracie. She is a natural healer and loves to help with Reiki classes. Sometimes she will send Reiki from across the room, and sometimes she will sit or lay on the table and give it directly. If you are not a “cat-person” or are allergic to cats, please let me know and I will recommend other kitty-free studios for you.
In-Studio Treatments: $75 for one session or $215 for a 3-session package. A $40 deposit is required to book your session (pay below). You may pay the balance by cash or check at your appointment. Or you may pay the full amount below. (PayPal service charge has been added). If you don’t have a PayPal account, you are welcome to mail or drop off your payment. Please note that deposits are due a minimum of 24 hours before your appointment, they are non-refundable, and cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged for the full session.

In-Home Treatments: The price is the same as for studio sessions, for travel within 15 minutes of the studio. Please contact us for a quote if you are further away. Please note that cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged for the session.
Distance Treatments: During the COVID-19 challenge, I can send a Reiki treatment to you from a distance. Distance treatments provide the same effects and benefits as a hands-on treatment. All you need to do is relax and receive! I can also send a distance treatment to your pet, friend or loved one.

Reiki for Animals
Reiki is a gentle touch technique for relaxation and stress reduction, that also provides physical, mental and emotional healing. All animals benefit from Reiki – mammals, birds, rodents, reptiles and fish.

The treatment is conducted in your home or barn because that is where your pet feels most comfortable and safe. Sessions last up to 60 minutes, depending on your pet’s needs that day and their desire to accept the treatment. The Reiki is offered in a non-invasive manner, allowing the animal to choose either a hands-on or hands-off treatment. So even the most fearful or traumatized animals will usually accept a treatment.
Because animals cannot speak and help us develop the best treatment plan, animal Reiki experts have found that animals benefit most from receiving three sessions in a row, 7-10 days apart if possible. The effects of Reiki are cumulative and this kind of treatment plan provides a strong foundation for healing. You can then follow up with subequent treatments as-needed. The three sessions are recommended for all animals, but are especially beneficial for animals with chronic health conditions or recent illness or injury.
Cost: $75 for one session / $215 for three sessions

If you have been trained and attuned by another accredited Master Teacher in the past and would like to take a refresher course, you are welcome to sit in on a class and receive the handout materials. If you wish to be re-attuned, the cost would be the same as the regular class.

Deepen your understanding of the Reiki energy, and your relationship with it. You will become “attuned” to the next level of Universal healing energy and learn sacred reiki treatmentsymbols that help strengthen your intentions for treating yourself, other people and your pets. You will also learn how to give Reiki treatments from a distance – physical distance as well as time distance (healing the past and supporting the future).
We will also discuss intuitive and shamanic healing methods, and how to incorporate pendulums, crystals and aromatherapy into your treatments. This class is taught in the traditional Usui method. Please bring a brown bag lunch.
Prerequisite: Level 1 Reiki training from an accredited Master Teacher. Due to the current world health crisis I am waiving the waiting period between Level 1 and 2, so that more practitioners can learn how to send Reiki from a distance.

Level 2 Refresher Course

You will learn Reiki Master spiritual exercises, how to pass attunements to others, and how to teach Reiki classes both in-person and online. We will also discuss meridian line healing, crystal gridding for body ailments, how to release karmic ties, intuitive and shamanic healing methods, and how to incorporate pendulums, crystals and aromatherapy into your treatments. The class is taught in the traditional Usui method.
Classes are taught by appointment, over two 6-1/2 hour Saturdays. Please bring a brown bag lunch. It can also be split into four Saturdays or weekdays.
Prerequisite: Taking on the role of Master Teacher is an important and sacred responsibility. Readiness is different for every student, and includes your understanding of Reiki, your personal relationship with the energy, as well as numerous hours of practice experience in self-Reiki, client treatments and distance treatments. You must also be able to draw the Level 2 symbols from memory. Please call to discuss your readiness to take this step in your Reiki training.

You will learn Reiki Master spiritual exercises, how to pass attunements to others, and how to teach Reiki classes both in-person and online. The class is taught in the traditional Usui method.
Classes are taught by appointment, on a 6-1/2 hour Saturday. Please bring a brown bag lunch. It can also be split into two Saturdays or weekdays.
